Qualifications

• Approved early childhood teaching qualification.
• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
• Experience in an early childhood or kindergarten setting.
• Understanding of contemporary early childhood education practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, colleagues and parents/guardians.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a Kindergarten team.
• Caring, inclusive approach to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Current first aid qualifications, including asthma and anaphylaxis training.
• Strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing engaging learning experiences that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging environment that fosters creativity and a love of learning.
• Working collaboratively with educators, families and specialists to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
• Contributing to observations, documentation and ongoing assessment of children’s learning and development.
