Whitehorse City Council is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for a part-time role in Melbourne to lead a vibrant kindergarten program within a long day care setting. You will inspire curiosity through intentional teaching and responsive curriculum design.

The role requires VEYLDF/NQF alignment, strong partnerships with families, and mentoring of staff. Applicants must have a Bachelor in ECE, VIT registration, and current First Aid/CPR. Applications close 4 November 2026.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood or ACECQA-equivalent.
• VIT registration is required.
• Current First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
• National Criminal History Check is required.

• Assess learning and scaffold development and interests.
• Build strong partnerships with families and professionals.
• Mentor educators and students in high-quality practice.
• Contribute to the centre Quality Improvement Plan and service promotion.
• Ensure compliance with Child Safe Standards and council policies.
