Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking an Engagement Officer in Toowoomba to guide change, build trusted relationships and create engagement experiences that strengthen workforce readiness and community connection.

You will lead engagement initiatives, partner with project teams and stakeholders to drive adoption of new ways of working, design participation activities, gather insights and monitor outcomes to improve how change is experienced across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering stakeholder engagement, change management or communication initiatives.
• Strong written, verbal and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to build partnerships, influence outcomes and manage competing priorities.
• A current C Class driver's licence and willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Leading engagement initiatives that build understanding, trust and support for key organisational programs.
• Partnering with project teams and stakeholders to achieve successful adoption of new ways of working.
• Designing and delivering activities that encourage participation, gather insights and inform decision‑making.
• Monitoring engagement outcomes and identifying opportunities to improve how change is experienced across the organisation.
