Job summary

Energy & Water Ombudsman Victoria (EWOV) in Melbourne is seeking a stakeholder-focused professional to support member engagement, onboarding and complex enquiries. The role sits in the External Affairs team and involves strengthening relationships across the energy and water sectors to deliver EWOV's member engagement strategy and practical resources for industry improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy or water sector or external dispute resolution environment.
• Ability to build and manage relationships with external stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing stakeholder-facing reports or briefing papers.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate information into practical insights and recommendations.
• Sound judgement, initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build credibility and trust quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with EWOV members and industry stakeholders.
• Use data and insights to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support systemic issue investigations and reporting.
• Develop reports, presentations, guidance materials and member resources.
• Contribute to projects, process improvements and member engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate member meetings and engagement initiatives.
• Support new members through onboarding and help them understand EWOV's role, framework, processes and requirements.
• Respond to member enquiries and provide practical support and guidance.
