Job summary

Qube Research & Technologies in Sydney seeks a Senior Operations Analyst to own the trade lifecycle from capture to settlement, partnering with Traders, Risk, Treasury, Finance, Technology and the COO teams to ensure accurate processing and timely settlements.

You will perform daily reconciliations, investigate breaks, and support energy futures, options and OTC products while driving automation and process improvements. The role will evolve to cover Japan energy activities as the business grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Operations or Middle Office in a trading environment.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and derivatives.
• Experience with energy/commodities beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own key elements of the trade lifecycle from capture to settlement.
• Perform daily reconciliations and investigate breaks.
• Support energy futures, options and OTC products.
• Act as a focal point for operational issues with traders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Prime Brokers and external counterparties.
• Work with teams to drive operational improvements and automation.
• Assist expansion into Japan physical energy and gas trading."
