FourQuarters Recruitment has partnered with a leading Australian institutional investment organisation to hire a Trading Operations Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Sydney CBD. The role focuses on trade processing, reconciliations and supporting the end-to-end investment lifecycle across asset classes.

You will match trades, resolve exceptions, perform daily reconciliations and collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders and custodians.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in investment operations or trade support.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle across equities, fixed income and derivatives.
• Experience with CTM, MarkitWire, TradeServ, GTSS and/or Aladdin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Match and process trades across multiple asset classes using CTM, MarkitWire and TradeServ.
• Investigate and resolve trade exceptions and discrepancies with internal teams and counterparties.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems and custodians.
• Liaise with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Custodians and external stakeholders.

Trading Operations Analyst - 12 Month FTC

Sydney CBD | Investment Management | 12-Month FTC

A leading Australian institutional investment organisation is seeking an Trading Operations Analyst to join its Investment Operations team.

The role will focus on trade processing, reconciliations, exception management and supporting the end-to-end investment lifecycle across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Match and process trades across multiple asset classes using CTM, MarkitWire and TradeServ
• Investigate and resolve trade exceptions and discrepancies with internal teams and counterparties
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems and custodians
• Liaise with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Custodians and external stakeholders
• Support process improvement, workflow efficiencies and automation

About You:

• 2+ years' experience in investment operations, trade support or a similar role
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and financial instruments including equities, fixed income and derivatives
• Experience with CTM, MarkitWire, TradeServ, GTSS and/or Aladdin highly regarded
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
