Job summary

Longi Solar is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead energy storage business development in Australia. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive project development from early engagement to contract signing.

The role requires deep market knowledge, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-growing renewable energy market in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in the energy sector.
• Familiarity with Australian energy policies, power market regulations, and the energy storage value chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end business development in the Australian energy storage market.
• Proactively identify new opportunities and build relationships with local stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with IPPs, EPC contractors, local governments, and power grid companies.
• Drive project cooperation and achieve business targets.
• Manage the full project development process from opportunity identification to contract signing and execution.
• Coordinate internal resources to support client communication and project execution.
• Resolve issues arising during business development and project promotion.
