Job summary

Bluefin Resources seeks a hands-on Financial Modeller to join its Sydney-based team, coming from an energy or banking background. This role is modelling-heavy, sitting at the centre of structured and project financing activities Australia-wide, working closely with debt and equity providers, banks and investors to support financing, investment, and M&A transactions.

Qualifications

Advanced financial modelling including three-statement models and project finance structures.
Experience with debt financing and bank models in energy/infrastructure sectors.
Proficiency in valuation, due diligence, and financial analysis for M&A.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and full working rights in Australia.
Must have full working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

Build and own complex, structured financial models from scratch for project development, financing and investment decisions.
Model debt financing solutions for energy projects.
Build and stress-test scenario and sensitivity models for investment committee decisions.
Contribute to M&A activities including valuation, due diligence and financial analysis.
Maintain and evolve models supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
Collaborate with banks, investors and financial stakeholders on model outputs and assumptions
