Job summary

Forvis Mazars - Australia is seeking a Financial Modelling Assistant Manager to lead model build and advisory engagements within the APAC Energy & Infrastructure team. You will manage a portfolio of financial models for infrastructure and renewable energy projects from bid through to operations.

The role requires mentoring junior staff, driving high-quality outputs, and offering modelling training to clients as part of project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial modelling and project finance is preferred.
• Training in best practice financial modelling is essential.
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting and Australian tax is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver model build and transaction advisory engagements.
• Manage day-to-day portfolio of financial model build assignments across projects.
• Ensure work plans, test plans, quality control and risk management procedures are followed.
• Develop and deliver financial modelling solutions for clients.
• Provide financial modelling training as needed.
