Job summary

Fortescue is seeking a Risk Adviser to strengthen material risk identification and control frameworks across energy assets in Western Australia. You will analyze risks, causes and consequences and establish controls to support safe, reliable operations.

You will work with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams to document risks, control performance and verification requirements, enabling informed decisions and resilient asset performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational risk, compliance or control-management in asset-intensive industries.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls and evidence-based assurance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document material risks, causes and consequences across assets.
• Define and monitor critical controls and verification requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Maintenance teams to gather evidence.
• Evaluate control effectiveness and close gaps with preventative actions.
• Produce clear risk documentation for stakeholders to inform decisions.
