Job summary

Perigon Group is seeking an Energy & Investment Analyst open to 1st movers to support optimisation of energy costs, and capital investment decisions across a national transmission network. You will transform operational and financial data into insights to improve performance, reduce costs, and further carbon neutrality goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in an analytical role across finance, operations, energy or commercial analysis.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Comfortable building financial models and presenting clear commercial insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational and energy performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Manage energy cost analysis, billing accuracy, accruals and invoice validation.
• Monitor wholesale electricity costs and lead billing dispute resolution.
• Develop financial models, business cases and cost-benefit analyses for capital investment decisions.
• Prepare monthly energy and cost performance reporting.
• Support demand response initiatives and sustainability programmes.
• Assist with energy, emissions and compliance reporting.
