Qualifications

• Experience providing support to individuals with disabilities is welcome but not necessary – we will train you in the field.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight, weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Valid Working With Children (WWC) Check.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to apply for one).
• Current Australian Drivers Licence.
• Reliable and comprehensively insured personal vehicle.
• Work as part of an enthusiastic and energetic tight-knit team.
• SCHADS Award.

• Support clients in social and recreational activities within the wider community
• Provide transportation (pick up and drop off) to Champions located across Sydney for the day's activities (facilitated in the community - not a centre)
• Execute daily planned activities in a group environment as provided by the Team Leader
• Document daily shift reports for each Champion
• Build trust and positive relationships with our Champions
• Work as part of an enthusiastic and energetic team to make every day a great day for our Champions

We are a community-based disability support provider supporting high-school aged and young adults living all over Sydney. At Champions Life Skills, we focus on providing social, recreational and community participation opportunities to our participants as well as building life skills.

We are looking to grow our team of passionate disability support workers to continue to make a real difference in the lives of our participants.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Support clients in social and recreational activities within the wider community

Provide transportation (pick up and drop off) to Champions located across Sydney for the day's activities(facilitated in the community - not a centre)

Execute daily planned activities in a group environment as provided by the Team Leader

Document daily shift reports for each Champion

Build trust and positive relationships with our Champions

Work as part of an enthusiastic and energetic team to make every day a great day for our Champions
