Job summary

Datacom in Australia is seeking an Endpoint Engineering Team Leader to lead a team of Endpoint Engineers and application packagers, ensuring best‑practice support and outstanding customer outcomes. The role requires Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain NV1 for federal government work.

After hours and weekend work may be required as well as onsite and remote work. You’ll manage resources, SLAs, mentoring, and guide the team through complex problems while delivering secure, compliant

Qualifications

• Leadership of large endpoint engineering teams and SOE management.
• Experience with MSP environments and ITIL/ITSM tooling.
• Advanced end-user management and modern/traditional SOE methods.
• Proven project management principles and strong scripting skills.
• Experience with Azure AD, Intune, MECM and ADS/GPO management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the endpoint engineering and packaging team to deliver high-quality support.
• Manage resource planning, scheduling and ensure SLAs are met.
• Oversee workload, priorities and the support model for customers.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex problems.
• Plan systems capabilities and mentor engineers to uplift skills.
