Job summary

Datacom is seeking an Endpoint Engineering Team Leader to lead a national team across Australia, including Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, and more. You will guide the standard operating environment, packaging, and compliance while ensuring high customer satisfaction and alignment with government client requirements including NV1 eligibility.

Availability for after-hours and hybrid onsite/remote work is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an Endpoint Engineering management role
• Experience leading a large endpoint engineering/SOE team
• Experience with ITIL and ITSM platforms for tickets
• Advanced end-user management skills with SOE
• Proven project management experience
• Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PC, Intune and MECM experience
• Active Directory Group Policy Management
• Strong PowerShell scripting abilities
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience in a customer-facing environment
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver solutions

Responsibilities

• Estimate, schedule and ensure resource planning for availability and support
• Manage performance and culture of a high-performing team
• Oversee team workload to meet SLAs
• Manage customer expectations via the support model
• Mentor less experienced team members
• Utilise resources to meet service objectives
• Troubleshoot complex problems per policy
• Plan system capabilities to meet user needs
• Mentor engineers to uplift skills
• Monitor performance of corporate platforms
• Oversee installation, testing and maintenance of hardware and software
• Provide guidance within policy to meet schedules and resolve problems
