Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking an IT End User Services professional to provide hands-on technical support across desktop, laptop, printer, telephony and network services. You will work with the Service Desk and IT teams to ensure seamless incident resolution and high-quality user experiences in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have Windows enterprise support experience, strong communication skills, and are eligible for NV1 clearance.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments and troubleshooting desktop, network and domain issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues across end-user technologies.
  • Experience with client device deployment, configuration and support in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality IT services.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for capturing solutions and sharing knowledge.
  • Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support across desktop, laptop, printer, telephony, video conferencing and network services.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure and IT teams to deliver end-to-end support and timely resolution of issues.
  • Troubleshoot incidents within the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and contribute to process improvements.
  • Assist with testing and deployment activities, including OS upgrades and new hardware, documenting solutions.

About the Team

The Opportunity

As part of the End User Services team, you will support a diverse and dynamic IT environment, working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional user experiences and maintain operational readiness.

  • Provide hands‑on technical support across desktop, laptop, printer, telephony, video conferencing and network services, helping our workforce remain productive and connected.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure and broader IT teams to deliver seamless end‑to‑end support and timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within the Standard Operating Environment (SOE), contributing to continuous improvement of support processes and customer outcomes.
  • Assist with testing and deployment activities, including operating system upgrades, new hardware, peripherals and workstation models, while documenting solutions and sharing knowledge across the team.
About You

You are a customer‑focused IT professional who enjoys solving technical problems and working in a collaborative environment. You bring a practical approach to support, a commitment to service excellence and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to a diverse range of users.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience supporting Windows‑based enterprise environments, including troubleshooting desktop, network and domain‑related issues.
  • Capability in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues across a range of end‑user technologies.
  • Experience with client device deployment, configuration and support in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high‑quality IT services.
  • Well‑developed communication and documentation skills, with the ability to capture solutions and share knowledge with others.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
Advantageous Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) or similar endpoint management technologies.
  • Knowledge of IT service management practices, with ITIL certification or equivalent experience highly regarded.
  • Exposure to engineering, defence or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies, including familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and other AI‑enabled workplace tools.
  • Microsoft certifications or other relevant industry qualifications.
