Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking an IT Support professional to join the End User Services team. You will deliver hands-on technical support for desktop, laptop, printers, telephony, and network services, ensuring secure and productive operations across the organisation.

You'll collaborate with Service Desk and IT teams to resolve incidents, assist with OS upgrades and new hardware, and document knowledge to improve service delivery in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments including desktop, network, and domain issues.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across end-user technologies.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting client devices in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for desktop, laptop, printer, telephony, video conferencing and network services.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk and Infrastructure to deliver end-to-end IT services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within the SOE and contribute to process improvements.
  • Assist with OS upgrades, new hardware deployments, and documentation of solutions.

Our CIO Leidos Support Team plays a vital role in ensuring employees have reliable access to company IT systems and infrastructure. We deliver responsive, high-quality support across desktop, network, and application services, enabling our teams to work securely and efficiently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The Opportunity

As part of the End User Services team, you will support a diverse and dynamic IT environment, working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional user experiences and maintain operational readiness. Provide hands‑on technical support across desktop, laptop, printer, telephony, video conferencing, and network services, helping our workforce remain productive and connected. Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and broader IT teams to deliver seamless end‑to‑end support and timely resolution of technical issues. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within the Standard Operating Environment (SOE), contributing to continuous improvement of support processes and customer outcomes. Assist with testing and deployment activities, including operating system upgrades, new hardware, peripherals, and workstation models, while documenting solutions and sharing knowledge across the team.

About You

You are a customer‑focused IT professional who enjoys solving technical problems and working in a collaborative environment. You bring a practical approach to support, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to a diverse range of users.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience supporting Windows‑based enterprise environments, including troubleshooting desktop, network, and domain‑related issues.
  • Capability in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues across a range of end‑user technologies.
  • Experience with client device deployment, configuration, and support in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high‑quality IT services.
  • Well‑developed communication and documentation skills, with the ability to capture solutions and share knowledge with others.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
Advantageous Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) or similar endpoint management technologies.
  • Knowledge of IT service management practices, with ITIL certification or equivalent experience highly regarded.
  • Exposure to engineering, defence, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies, including familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and other AI‑enabled workplace tools.
  • Microsoft certifications or other relevant industry qualifications.
