Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking an experienced End User Services professional to support our IT environment in Canberra. You will provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network services, ensuring productivity and security across the organisation.

Collaborating with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, you will troubleshoot incidents, deploy OS upgrades, and document solutions to share knowledge across the team.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments.
  • Capability in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Experience with client device deployment and support in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality IT services.
  • Well-developed communication and documentation skills.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support across desktop, laptop, printer, telephony, video conferencing, and network services.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and broader IT teams to deliver seamless end-to-end support and timely resolution of technical issues.

Our CIO Leidos Support Team plays a vital role in ensuring employees have reliable access to company IT systems and infrastructure. We deliver responsive, high-quality support across desktop, network, and application services, enabling our teams to work securely and efficiently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The Opportunity

As part of the End User Services team, you will support a diverse and dynamic IT environment, working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional user experiences and maintain operational readiness.

  • Provide hands-on technical support across desktop, laptop, printer, telephony, video conferencing, and network services, helping our workforce remain productive and connected.

About You

You are a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving technical problems and working in a collaborative environment. You bring a practical approach to support, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to a diverse range of users.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments, including troubleshooting desktop, network, and domain-related issues.

  • Capability in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues across a range of end-user technologies.

  • Experience with client device deployment, configuration, and support in a corporate environment.

  • Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality IT services.

  • Well-developed communication and documentation skills, with the ability to capture solutions and share knowledge with others.

  • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance .

Advantageous Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) or similar endpoint management technologies.

  • Knowledge of IT service management practices, with ITIL certification or equivalent experience highly regarded.

  • Exposure to engineering, defence, or other highly regulated environments.

  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies, including familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled workplace tools.

  • Microsoft certifications or other relevant industry qualifications.
