Job summary

JRT Group in Yeppoon, Queensland seeks an experienced HR Administrator to join our local civil construction team. The role focuses on end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and ongoing HR administration within a fast-paced, growing business.

You will work closely with the HR Manager and operations to attract, assess and onboard a diverse workforce across civil construction, trades, plant operator and related roles. Experience with Australian employment standards is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in Recruitment and/or HR administration.
• Ability to manage end-to-end recruitment.
• Strong candidate screening and interviewing skills.
• Confidential handling of information.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles and projects.
• Prepare and post job advertisements on SEEK and other platforms.
• Review applications and shortlist candidates.
• Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews.
• Complete reference checks and pre-employment checks.
• Maintain recruitment pipelines and source candidates for current/upcoming needs.
• Coordinate onboarding and ensure new employees start smoothly.
• Assist with HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
• Support payroll and timekeeping processes.
