Job summary

JRT Group is seeking an experienced and reliable Dozer Operator to join our team on a 5/4 Lifestyle roster. The successful applicant will operate a dozer and a range of heavy equipment, taking responsibility for decisions when required and working with limited supervision on weekends.

We value reliability, safety, and agility in a busy site environment. HR licence is highly regarded but not essential, and you will contribute to project safety and productivity on site at Stanwell.

The successful applicant will be an experienced Dozer Operator who is also confident operating a range of other heavy equipment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Operating a dozer safely and efficiently
• Confidently operating loaders, Moxy dump trucks and excavators/diggers
• Working independently and taking responsibility for operational decisions when required
• Assisting with and managing train placements over weekends
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity and site requirements
• Working a 5/4 Lifestyle roster

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have proven experience operating dozers
• Be a confident and competent operator of loaders, Moxys and excavators/diggers
• Be alert, agile and switched on, with the ability to respond appropriately in a busy operational environment
• Be reliable, trustworthy and capable of working independently
• Have the confidence and judgement to make operational decisions when required
• Be willing and able to pass a pre-employment urine drug and alcohol test
• Be comfortable working within a non-smoking site
• Hold an HR licence – highly regarded but not essential
