Custom Fleet is seeking an Accident Management Consultant to join our operations team on a 6-month contract. You will be the first point of contact for customers after motor vehicle accidents and guide them through the insurance claims process from lodgment to resolution, delivering customer-centric service.

This role supports end-to-end claims handling, requires attention to detail, strong communication, and experience in claims management or insurance environments.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accident Management Consultant to join our growing operations team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers who have been involved in a motor vehicle accident and need to lodge an insurance claim. You will guide customers through the claims process while managing claims from lodgment through to resolution.

Deliver a superior level of customer service, demonstrating customer centricity, accountability and collaboration.

Process motor vehicle accident claims for Custom Fleet customers through insurers and clients directlyvia the AMS claims lodgment process.

Perform all duties diligently and in line with established KPIs.

Manage the claims process end-to-end and customer expectations throughout the claim lifecycle.

Maintain a well-managed claims portfolio, taking timely action on all cases.

Ensure accurate and prompt processing of supplier invoices.

Process all transactions accurately to ensure information is reportable and accessible.

Other Duties

Provide support across all areas of the Accident Management team as required.

Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

ABOUT YOU

You're a customer-focused professional who thrives on helping customers through challenging situations. You combine strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

2-3 years customer service experience.

Solid understanding of general liability rules and Traffic Authority Road Rules.

Strong active listening skills with the ability to empathise and understand others.

Consistently demonstrates integrity and maintains confidentiality.

Exceptional attention to detail and accountability.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines and work independently.

Collaborative team player with energy, passion and a positive attitude.

Other Experience

Experience within the insurance industry, specifically in claims management.

Insurance claims experience in Heavy Commercial.

Motor claims recovery experience.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex data and results.
