Job summary

The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne is seeking an EMR Educator (part-time 0.8 FTE) to design, deliver and evaluate EMR education for diverse staff across the Parkville precinct. You will translate EMR functionality into practical, workflow-based learning that supports safe, efficient patient care.

Working with clinical informatics, education teams and preceptors, you will onboard new starters, optimise education delivery and lead ongoing workforce development for EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Design, deliver and evaluate EMR education for diverse staff.
• Apply adult learning principles to create engaging learning.
• Maintain education materials aligned to EMR upgrades and workflows.
• Experience with LMS and eLearning tools in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain EMR curricula and resources.
• Deliver onboarding EMR training to new starters and large cohorts.
• Provide go-live and upgrade support for EMR pilots and deployments.
• Evaluate education programs and measure impact on proficiency.
