Job summary

The Royal Women’s Hospital is seeking a Clinical Informatics Officer to design, implement and optimise EMR-driven virtual care and patient portal services. You will work with clinicians and IT teams to deliver consistent workflows and high-quality digital health solutions across the Parkville precinct.

You will leverage Epic EMR platforms, contribute to governance, and drive data quality and user adoption while advancing care delivery for women and newborns.

Qualifications

• Epic accreditation or certification (or equivalent experience) and a strong understanding of EMR systems.
• Experience working with healthcare applications, digital health technologies or clinical information systems.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business and clinical requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, implement and optimise EMR solutions for virtual care and patient portal services.
• Collaborate with clinicians, consumers and technical teams to deliver digital health solutions.
• Ensure data quality and alignment with local governance policies and requirements.
• Contribute to governance groups and deployment planning for Virtual Care initiatives.
