Bamara is seeking a Parent Pathway Support Mentor to deliver the Parent Pathways Program funded by the Australian Government. The role focuses on assisting participants, identifying barriers, and linking them with local services to promote independence and well-being.

Applicants should be studying or have completed Certificate III in Community Services, with strong communication, case management, and administration skills.

Qualifications

• Has completed or currently studying Certificate III (or above) in Community Services.
• Experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Understanding barriers faced by unemployed participants, especially parents returning to work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong administration skills.
• Ability to meet KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Parent Pathways Program for the Australian Government.
• Identify participant barriers and create achievable steps and goals.
• Connect participants to local support services.
• Promote culturally competent services to improve community outcomes.
