Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking a dedicated individual to support two women with disability in a shared home in Bondi Junction, NSW. This permanent part-time role focuses on building independence, daily living tasks, transportation, and community participation, with a 24/7 roster and a set fortnightly hours schedule.

Applicants must have First Aid/CPR, relevant disability experience, and be able to complete probity checks including NDIS clearance. Female applicants only as per policy.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health concerns.
• Previous experience working with behaviour support plans.
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans.
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities.
• Maintain thorough record keeping.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues.
• Advocate for client choice and control.
