Life Without Barriers is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred active support to people living with disability in Supported Independent Living settings. This part-time role requires availability for all shifts across two lines of duty, including sleepovers and evening/night hours.

You will assist with daily living, personal care and routines while following individual support plans. A driver’s licence for NSW, basic tech skills, and a current First Aid certificate are

Formación

• Experience with complex behaviour support required.
• Unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology on mobile and desktop.
• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 or HLTAID011.

Responsabilidades

• Support clients with daily living tasks.
• Remain flexible and respond calmly to changing situations.
• Follow and adapt to behaviour support plans.
• Maintain a positive attitude and build rapport.
• Assist with daily routines including domestic assistance and personal care.
• Promote client choice and independence in all interactions.
