Job summary

Life Without Barriers in Sydney is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our SIL team based in Bondi Junction. You will support two women to live independently, assist with daily tasks, medication, transport, and community participation, while fostering dignity and choice.

The role is permanent part-time with a 49.5-hour fortnight roster, requiring a current driver's licence and the ability to work across a 24/7 pattern. Female applicants only.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health concerns.
• Previous experience working with behaviour support plans.
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans.
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities.
• Maintain thorough record keeping.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues.
• Advocate for client choice and control.
