Job summary

All About Recovery in Dubbo is seeking a Disability/Mental Health Support Worker to empower participants with diverse needs. You will provide person-centred support including personal care, skill-building, and community access within SIL and other accommodation settings.

You will collaborate with families and care teams, maintain accurate records and adapt shifts including weekdays, weekends, sleepovers and active nights.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mental Health and/or Disability sector.
• Enrolled in or completed Certificate III in Individual Support, Disabilities or Mental Health.
• Current CPR certification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• NDIS Orientation Module.
• WWCC if supporting children.
• Current National Police Check (Preferred).
• Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable insured vehicle or access to company vehicle.
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to participants with diverse and complex needs.
• Forensic and Behaviour Support (including Restrictive Practice).
• High Intensity and 24/7 care.
• Personal care, skill building and community access.
• Support within Supported Independent Living (SIL) and other accommodation settings.
• Maintain accurate records, shift notes and incident reports.
• Work collaboratively with participants, families and the wider care team.
