Job summary

Life Without Barriers is hiring a Disability Support Worker (Female) for a permanent part-time role in Orange/Dubbo area. You will provide person-centred support to people living with disability, including personal care and daily living tasks, across SIL settings.

You must hold a NSW driver’s licence, be able to drive a large van, and have a current First Aid certificate HLTAID003 or HLTAID011. Successful applicants will undergo probity checks and receive SCHADS-based pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted NSW driver's license and ability to drive a large van.
• Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 or HLTAID011.
• Ability to use basic technology on mobile/desktop apps.
• Clear state-based probity checks (National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check) will be required.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person-centred active support to people living with disability. Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.

We are looking to fill 1 permanent part-time position. You MUST be available for all shifts Please see the hours below:

Week 1

Monday 5pm to 9pm

Friday 9am to 2pm

Saturday 9am to 2pm

Sunday 8am to 1pm
Week 2

Tuesday 5pm to 9pm

Saturday 9am to 2pm

Sunday 8am to 10am

Skills & Experience

• An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and ability to drive a large van
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
• A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

• Pay rates starting from $36.22 (part time) per hour as per the SCHADS Award
