Afford is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker in the South Brisbane region. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support across SIL and community programs to help clients live independently and engage with their communities.

The role requires compassionate, reliable individuals with a Certificate III in Individual Support, willingness to obtain checks, a current driver's licence and a vehicle for client transport. Join a values-driven team focused on rights and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support aligned with individual plans.
• Assist daily living activities to promote independence.
• Support clients to access community activities and appointments.
• Help clients achieve personal goals and build confidence.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Support high and varying levels of need.
• Follow Behaviour Support Plans and NDIS Practice Standards.
• Promote dignity, rights and independence in every interaction.
• Maintain timely client documentation.
• Collaborate with families, clients and professionals.
