Job summary

Help at Hand Support Services in Queensland is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team. You will provide person-centred support and vary daily activities from outings to appointments, adapting to each client’s needs.

The role requires driving own vehicle, police checks, and current first aid/CPR. You will work with compassion, reliability, and a calm, proactive approach in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Must have your own fully insured and reliable vehicle.
• International police check or current police check within 6 months of application.
• Cert III in Disability or above or equivalent experience.
• A current Working with children check.
• First aid/CPR certificates (current).
• Full and clean Australian driver’s license.
• Be punctual, reliable and flexible.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Empathetic and proactive with a genuine interest to work in this field.
• Ability to self-supervise and remain calm in crises.
