Job summary

Prestige Health Services Australia (PHSA) is seeking an Employment Placement Specialist to join its Employment Services team in Brisbane. The role focuses on delivering job seeking preparation and placement services for referred participants with injuries or health conditions to support host employment, trials, volunteering, or direct placements.

Requirements include at least 2 years in workplace rehabilitation or related fields, strong communication, ability to source opportunities through cold

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in workplace rehabilitation services, disability, employment case management, job placement or recruitment (or equivalent).
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to reverse market and cold canvass to potential employers to source host trials and new employment opportunities
• Independence and autonomy with the ability to work in a team environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with electronic client record keeping
• Class C Drivers licence, access to own vehicle and willingness to travel for face-to-face servicing as required

Responsibilities

• Deliver job seeking preparation and job placement services to referred participants with an injury (psychological or physical) and those who may have a health or medical condition to support host employment, host trials, volunteer work or direct job placement.
• Collaborate with employers and host organisations to source placement opportunities and coordinate delivery of services.
• Maintain accurate client records and provide timely reporting as required.
