Job summary

CoAct is seeking a motivated Mentor in Brisbane to support customers on their journey to sustainable employment. You will provide tailored mentoring, create action plans, and manage progress with a focus on outcomes, while working closely with employers and community partners.

The role requires strong communication, coaching, and trauma-informed approaches, with a KPI-driven environment and a commitment to compliant record-keeping. Applicants based in Brisbane are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience in case management, including action plans.
• Ability to engage, motivate and support individuals to achieve goals.
• Ability to build and maintain partnerships with employers and community networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing mentoring and case management to customers toward job readiness and sustainable employment outcomes.
• Develop and implement personalised action plans identifying goals, barriers and interventions.
• Monitor progress, review plans and adjust strategies to achieve positive outcomes.
• Build relationships with customers, employers and community partners to create employment opportunities.
• Support customers post-placement to improve retention and address risks to ongoing employment.
