Job summary

Peninsula, a Great Place to Work certified company, invites a part-time employment lawyer to join its high-performing legal team. You will work on complex employment matters, advising clients and representing them in Federal and State courts with supportive leaders and flexible balance.

The role suits a 4-year PQE professional seeking responsibility, real clients, and a balanced lifestyle within Australia’s HR and WHS advisory space.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience in employment law.
• Unrestricted practising certificate in Australia.
• Experience advising and representing in federal/state courts.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time.
• Proactive, commercially focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients across Federal and State courts, tribunals and commissions.
• Run matters end-to-end with support from experienced leaders.
• Deliver practical, commercial advice to business owners and decision-makers.
• Work closely with senior lawyers and counsel on strategy and outcomes.
• Build your litigation capability in a high-performance, supportive team.
