Sureway Employment and Training in Wodonga is seeking an Employment Consultant to support participants on their journey to work, building relationships with employers and coordinating services to secure meaningful employment.

You will work one-on-one with participants, promote their strengths, and connect them with suitable roles while helping remove barriers and coordinating training when needed. This role rewards initiative, relationship building, and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with participants to set goals and action plans.
• Build relationships with local employers to create opportunities.
• Promote participants' strengths and match to roles.
• Support participants before and after placement for sustainable employment.
• Identify barriers and coordinate needed support or training.
• Manage caseload, priorities, and follow-ups to maintain momentum.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure program compliance.
• Represent Sureway in the community to build awareness and connections.
