MatchWorks is seeking an Employment Consultant in Prestons, NSW, to help participants achieve their employment goals and navigate meaningful work. You’ll build strong relationships, understand skills and goals, and provide practical support to help job readiness.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Orientation Module Certificate is required.
• Experience in customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy is desirable.

MatchWorks is looking for an Employment Consultant who is passionate about helping people achieve their employment goals and supporting them on their journey to meaningful work. In this role, you'll build strong relationships with participants, understand their skills, experience, and goals, and provide practical support to help them become job ready and confident in their abilities.

What you'll do

• Work with your participants to understand their strengths and goals to match them with the right employment opportunities
• Bridge the gap between job seekers and local employers by promoting their unique skills and strengths
• Link participants with training, health, and community supports for long-term success
• Support participants to develop practical career plans that unlock their potential and boost confidence

What you'll bring

• Highly developed communication skills to provide relevant supports to participants and external stakeholders
• Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation and compliance records in accordance with Workforce Australia requirements
• A collaborative team member who brings professionalism, positivity, and a mature approach to teamwork
• Experience in a customer service, recruitment or employment consultancy setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate - but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
