Job summary

Horner Recruitment Ltd partners with Valiant to recruit an emerging Project Manager for Melbourne operations.

In this hands-on role you will coordinate furniture, transport, equipment and crews for deliveries and installations, support event setups and pack-downs, and liaise with clients and venues.

Onboarding, training and progression opportunities provided; MR and LO licences advantageous; room to grow within a dynamic events team.

Qualifications

• Experience in events, staging, furniture installation, warehousing, logistics or removals.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership and support the team.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 20kg and onsite setup work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate furniture, transport, equipment and crews for deliveries and installations.
• Support event setups and pack-downs, building towards coordinating onsite teams.
• Work from floorplans and schedules to place furniture correctly.
• Communicate with clients and venue contacts to keep jobs running smoothly.
• Help with warehouse duties, loading, unloading and furniture placement.
• Learn Valiant's systems and processes, maintaining safety and service.
