Job summary

Twilight Event Hire is seeking a hands-on crew member to join our Geelong-based team. You will assist with setting up and dismantling marquees, flooring and furniture, loading trucks, and preparing equipment for events across Victoria.

Training is provided for the right attitude and willingness to learn. Ideal candidates are reliable, physically fit, and able to work well in a team, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Job description

This is a hands-on, physical role working as part of an experienced event crew. Your work will include setting up and dismantling marquees and event structures, installing flooring, furniture and event equipment, loading and unloading trucks, picking and preparing equipment at the warehouse, setting up weddings, festivals, corporate events and other major events, travelling to different event sites across Victoria, and packing down events and returning equipment to the warehouse. No marquee or event experience is required. Training is provided to people with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities

Setting up and dismantling marquees and event structures

Installing flooring, furniture and event equipment

Loading and unloading trucks

Picking and preparing equipment at the warehouse

Setting up weddings, festivals, corporate events and other major events

Travelling to different event sites across Victoria

Packing down events and returning equipment to the warehouse

About you

Reliable and punctual

Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

Work well as part of a team

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Can follow instructions and work safely

Available for flexible hours, including some early mornings, evenings and weekends

Advantageous but not essential: Construction, landscaping, removals, warehousing or labouring experience

Advantageous but not essential: Event or marquee installation experience

Advantageous but not essential: Forklift licence, MR or HR truck licence, White Card, or experience towing trailers or driving larger vehicles

Twilight Event Hire is based in Geelong and provides marquees, structures, flooring, furniture and event equipment for a wide range of events across Victoria and interstate. The work ranges from weddings and corporate events through to some of Victoria's largest music festivals and major events.
