Job summary

Staffpower is seeking an experienced Emergency Roadside Technician in Victoria. The role involves responding to roadside calls, diagnosing issues and performing minor repairs while delivering excellent customer service.

You will assist with vehicle recovery and towing when needed, and opportunities to gain tow truck driver accreditation and training. A valid licence and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology highly regarded.
• Current driver's licence, with MR licence preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

About the role

You'll respond to roadside assistance calls, diagnose vehicle issues and carry out minor repairs such as tyre changes, jump-starts and refuelling. You'll also assist with vehicle recovery and towing where required, while providing friendly and reliable customer service to motorists when they need it most.
