Job summary

Moree District Hospital in Moree, NSW invites an experienced Clinical Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Emergency Department team, delivering safe, patient-centred care and high-quality clinical outcomes.

As NUM, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, workforce planning, rostering and development, supported by the Health Service Manager and the multidisciplinary team. This is a permanent full-time role with attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Postgraduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management (or currently enrolled).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, operational and professional leadership for the nursing team.
• Coordinate safe, efficient and patient-centred care across the ED unit.
• Lead workforce planning, rostering and performance management.
• Manage resources to achieve service and organisational goals.
• Foster a positive workplace culture with continuous improvement.
