Hunter New England Local Health District’s Moree District Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead the Emergency Department team in delivering safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care to the local community.

As NUM, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, drive workforce planning and staff development, and ensure exceptional clinical outcomes. This is a pivotal role within a supportive multidisciplinary ED team.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Postgraduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management (or currently enrolled).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, operational and professional leadership for the nursing team.
• Coordinate safe, efficient and patient-centred care across the unit.
• Lead workforce planning, rostering, performance management and staff development.
• Manage human, financial and physical resources to achieve service and organisational goals.
