Job summary

NSW Health's Narrabri District Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to lead the ED team and advance emergency care. You’ll work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to mentor staff, drive quality improvements, and support ongoing professional growth.

This is a full-time role on a rotating roster in a well-resourced rural ED. The position offers a competitive remuneration of AUD 128,301.89 to AUD 132,523.13 per year, plus superannuation and salary packaging, with 38 hours per week

Qualifications

• Authorised to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Post-registration qualification in Emergency Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Support and encourage professional and career development across the team.
• Work on a rotating roster in a busy Emergency Department.
