Darling Downs Health is seeking an Administration Officer for the Emergency Department to help keep patient journeys running smoothly. In this role you will coordinate information, maintain accurate records, and provide responsive support to patients, families and clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring strong administration, attention to detail, and compassionate, patient-centred service to a team committed to safe, connected care.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative roles within healthcare is desirable.
• Good data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors.
• Ensure patient information, admissions and records are accurate and accessible.
• Support nurses, doctors and multidisciplinary teams with efficient administrative coordination.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen service delivery.
