Job summary

NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking a skilled candidate to optimize the CAD system and ensure accurate dispatch data. You will collaborate with the Operational Communication Centre, Districts, Brigades and partner agencies to deliver reliable dispatch capabilities that protect NSW communities.

The role requires experience with operational systems, strong analytical ability, attention to detail and the capacity to work with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with operational systems, data and processes in a dynamic service delivery environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Diploma in a relevant discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Current Driver Licence and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work in after-hours and on-call roster.
• Experience reviewing, analysing and maintaining operational data for dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the NSW RFS CAD system to keep critical data accurate.
• Collaborate with Operational Communication Centre, Districts and Brigades.
• Deliver reliable dispatch capabilities to support NSW communities.
• Drive continuous improvement of dispatch arrangements.
• Support after-hours and on-call operations.
