Job summary

Cloudflare, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Professional Services to embed with a customer’s team, lead end-to-end Cloudflare deployments, and drive architectural decisions for global web properties.

You will design and optimize security-driven Cloudflare solutions, run technical workshops, and transfer knowledge to customer and internal teams, ensuring smooth handoffs and continued collaboration.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Expertise in WAF, Bot Management, API Gateway, DDoS protection.
• Experience designing security architectures for large-scale deployments.
• Strong communication and executive presence; APJC regional experience.

Responsibilities

• Embed and integrate as a trusted member of the customer’s technical team.
• Design, configure, and optimize Cloudflare solutions in the customer environment.
• Provide proactive architectural guidance, roadmaps, and best-practice recommendations.
• Lead workshops and knowledge-transfer sessions and document decisions.
