Qualifications

• Qualified in Painting and Decorating or equivalent trade experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in painting and decorating, especially high-end residential/commercial.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and professional painting techniques.
• Experience applying paints, coatings and decorative finishes.
• Confident using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
• Ability to interpret job specifications and select materials/preparation methods.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety; capable working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Strong cutting and rolling skills.
• Interior and exterior painting experience.
• Experience with spray painting, including roof spraying.
• Experience applying epoxy flooring.
• Carrying out plaster repairs, patching and prep work.

• Proper surface preparation, including sanding, filling and caulking.
• Applying undercoats, primers and various finishes.
• Using brushes, rollers and spray equipment safely and effectively.
