Anton Murray Consulting seeks a driven market-facing professional to fast-track a career on an institutional trading floor in Sydney. The role targets individuals roughly 2–4 years post-university to join a high-octane institutional sales desk.

You will support AU/NZ client coverage, monitor macro updates, and coordinate onboarding with global compliance teams, becoming a key bridge between clients and desks in a dynamic, global firm.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of commercial experience within financial markets post-graduation.
• Strong interest in macroeconomic trends and foundational understanding of interest rate derivatives and fixed-income markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce or related quantitative discipline; regulatory credentials (AFMA RG146) are advantageous.
• Exceptional numerical agility, confident articulation, proactive attitude; thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• AU/NZ Client Coverage & Execution Support: facilitate processing and execution of client orders across electronic platforms and voice channels for AUD and NZD rate products.
• Market Intelligence & Analytics: monitor real-time macro updates, STIRs, sovereign debt markets to help form trade ideas and commentary for regional clients.
• Relationship Management: act as day-to-day point of contact for institutional clients, ensuring premium service and smooth trade lifecycle.
• Onboarding Coordination: manage onboarding pipeline for new regional counterparties with global legal, risk and compliance teams.
