Anton Murray Consulting partners with a leading US global trading institution expanding its Sydney CBD trade management middle office. The role connects elite trading pods to global clearing networks across Australia and APAC, focusing on risk management and precise process execution.

You will manage end-to-end flows for multi-asset instruments, liaise with prime brokers and custodians, and drive controls, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to support regional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in middle office or trade operations.
• Understanding of derivative lifecycle.
• Experience with energy markets or APAC trading is desirable.
• Comfort with automation and controls.
• Ability to work under high volatility environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end processing of OTC, equity derivatives, futures, and options.
• Liaise with prime brokers, clearing houses, and custody agents.
• Validate cash positions and reconciliations; investigate ledger discrepancies.
• Serve as primary operational liaison for trading desks and resolve queries.
• Collaborate with risk, treasury, legal and engineering to ensure compliance and robust controls.
• Identify process improvements and introduce automation to reduce manual workflows.
• Support regional growth through market readiness for energy derivatives and physical assets.
