Job summary

Tweed Shire Council in NSW is seeking an Operations Coordinator - Electrotechnology to lead delivery, maintenance and optimisation of water and wastewater electrotechnology infrastructure. You will supervise teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure safe, reliable service across maintenance, capital works and emergency response.

Qualifications

• A qualified Electrotechnology professional with strong experience in industrial electrical operations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and lead high-performing teams.
• Hands-on expertise in water and wastewater electrical systems, instrumentation and control technologies.
• Champion safety, compliance and best practice, with a strong understanding of Australian Standards.
• Proactive problem-solver with fault-finding skills and experience using asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performing Electrical and Electronic Technician teams supporting critical Council infrastructure.
• Coordinate maintenance, projects, contractors and emergency response activities across Water and Wastewater assets.
• Drive safe, reliable and efficient service delivery through strong operational leadership and planning.
• Champion team development, workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise and stakeholder support to optimise asset performance and service outcomes.
