Job summary

EM Controls is seeking an Electronics Service Technician to configure new industrial radio control systems, troubleshoot customer issues, and perform bench repairs. The role includes on-site work across the Sydney metro area and a base at our Wetherill Park office, with up to two days per fortnight on-site.

You will diagnose issues, test components, read schematics, and ensure high-quality installations for LED signage clients while maintaining safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
• Competency in de-soldering and soldering through-hole components.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and trace faults to board components.
• Physical ability to work at heights on A-frame ladders for site work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid NSW driver's license.
• Industrial crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing equipment in collaboration with customers.

Our company is a manufacturer of electronic and software systems in the industrial equipment and digital signage industries, and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electronics Service Technician to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the configuration of new industrial radio control systems, troubleshooting customer issues, and carrying out bench repairs. Whilst primarily based out of our office in Wetherill Park, the role also involves on-site repair work (up to two days per fortnight) throughout the Sydney metro area for our digital signage clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
