Job summary

AutoTest, an Australian-made and owned manufacturer of instrumentation for automotive roadworthy equipment, seeks a Service Repair Technician to join the Melbourne facility. You will diagnose and repair returned products, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have experience reading schematics, PCB soldering (0402 and small pitch), calibration tech, MS Office, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required; strong communication skills.
• Experience reading schematics and PCB files.
• Experience with assembly and repair of electronic instruments.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time to meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Work with Service Coordinator to ensure repair and return of test equipment to suit customer requirements.
• Carry out repair and maintenance, service actions and other routine tasks according to customer requests and contract obligations.
• Ensure high standard of service, skill, ability with current products, and efficiency through training.
• Work with coordinator to ensure efficient scheduling of works.
